Urgent Care Centre celebrates five years of caring for West Hamilton

Five years ago, Hamilton Health Sciences’ Main Street West Urgent Care Centre (UCC) opened its doors to offer timely, quality medical care to residents of West Hamilton. From 9am to 9pm every day since April 4, 2011, UCC teams have cared for more than 145,000 patients. Congratulations and thank you to our Urgent Care Centre teams for supporting our community!

About the Main Street West Urgent Care Centre

The Urgent Care Centre is staffed by a team of specialized physicians and nurses who are equipped to perform diagnostic tests such as x-rays and ultrasounds. Urgent care is required for illnesses and injuries that do not need emergency care, but cannot wait for an appointment with a family doctor.

Examples requiring urgent care:

• Minor cuts or wounds that may require stitches
• Simple broken bones
• Sprains, strains or deep bruises
• Ear infections
• Fevers, coughs, congestion and sore throats
• Insect bites, rashes and scrapes

There is an on-site pharmacy available with limited hours. Diagnostic imaging is also available with limited hours.

No appointments are required. Visit us as 690 Main Street West, Hamilton or call 905-521-2100 x. 72000.
